Part of the problem
To my mind Lee Anderson is part of the problem. He strives to create an impression that in their hearts the Conservatives are conservative but they are not. To me he comes across as window dressing.
Yes, he comes across as more genuine than most of his Parliamentary colleagues, and more like a grass-roots Tory who sounds off in the saloon bar. And that's the problem. Sunak has only put him into the Deputy Chair position because the "Red Wall" is in trouble. Defensive tokenism.
Due to spam comments and now the UK Online Safety Act, comment moderation is on. Anonymous or impolite comments or comments likely to be flagged by the system are liable to be treated as spam.
