King Ladybird

The King co-writes children's climate change book

King Charles has co-written a children's book about the environmental threats the planet is facing.

'Climate Change' - a Ladybird Book, will be published next month.

Speaking at the reception, the book's co-author Chair of Natural England Tony Juniper said the King wanted to empower young people.

Whatever next? The Naughty SUV? A Malthusian Primer?

  1. He's not supposed to be involving himself in 'politics' now that he's king. Indoctrination of young children of the 1950s. Do children read Ladybird books nowadays?

  3. I wonder who the ghost writer will be. Spike Milligan being no longer available.

  4. Tammly - our grandkids used to read Ladybird books, or rather we read to them at bedtime.

dearieme - it's undignified too, like advertising crisps with Gary Lineker.

decnine - and he can't use anyone who knows something about climate change. Seems to be stuck.

  5. Maybe his crown will be carbon-free?
Seriously though, folks, this is his descent from being Royalty to just being another sleb.
I hope that William and Kate are watching and learning.

  6. Doonhamer - I agree, it is certainly a descent to being just another sleb. That's it, the damage is done.
