Labour's New Class War

  1. Labour is so far from anything I'm interested in, just as with the Demrats in the US.

  2. James - what puzzles me is how obvious it is that it has cut itself adrift from ordinary people who just want to get on with their lives.

  3. The hard left has usurped Old Labour, which seemed genuinely to be for the worker. I know a few Old Labourites, good people. In our area here, Momentum did for incumbent Labour men in safe seats. Very sad.

  4. Michael Collins - a good man, very percipient. His book "The Likes of Us" deals with similar issues, and is well worth a read. The betrayal of the white working class. It was published nearly 20 years ago, though, and things have got a good deal worse since then.

  5. James - I know an Old Labourite who is mostly interested in helping real people rather than slogans. Yes it is sad.

Sam - thanks, I'll take a look at the book - it's on Kindle too.
