Bungled gamble

Will president's gamble pay off? Biden makes another robust defence of his Afghanistan decision as his approval ratings plummet

The president knows he needs to appeal to liberals who wonder where his empathy has gone, and to conservatives who fear social challenges and security risks with so many Afghans arriving.

It is almost entertaining to see the mainstream media squirm their way around the Biden regime's incompetence. As they cannot admit that Trump would probably have managed it more competently, there is nowhere else for them to go. So a hopelessly bungled operation becomes a gamble.

  1. Never mind betraying an entire country with a clown-show of a retreat; nor plunging the region into instability and barbarism. At least Biden's not firing off daft tweets every other minute!

  2. Sam - yes that's the main point. He has sensible hair too, which should count for something.
