Hadrian's WiFi

WiFi is slow up here by Hadrian's Wall. So much for Roman technical abilities. We'll take a look at their wall tomorrow.

  3. Coldest day of my life was on that wall at 6 a.m. one winter.

  4. Any chance of a bit of pillage, a few cows and horses maybe. The Treasury is teeing up for whizzo subsidies for farmers - get in early - and at the Scot's expense.

  6. I think you'll find that Mr Hadrians workmanship needs a bit of remedial to bring it up to standard

  8. Sackers - could be, but walls two feet thick probably had something to do with it.

Demetrius - I was very wary, especially in the bath house.

James - we were sweating in bright sunshine on a few days.

Roger - we tried, but the cows had calves and looked rather fierce.

David - much of it has been nicked by church builders, so there may be a connection.

Bill - a chap called Clayton tried that, but didn't finish the job.

Scrobs - didn't they set London going? On second thoughts maybe that isn't a plus.
