The Welsh Chekhov

Rhys Davies (1901 - 1978)

For something different, try The Welsh Chekhov, a review of Welsh writer Rhys Davies by Theodore Dalrymple.

For devotees of literary nooks and crannies, it's well worth a read.

  1. Thanks for the link. I like Dalrymple, though I could wish him less melancholy.

  2. Sackers - I like him too, but also find him rather bleak at times.
